AJC’s Division on Russian Jewish Affairs is seeking an enthusiastic, well-organized, and responsible Research Intern to provide support for the Division’s ongoing operations, projects, and new initiatives. We are looking for a Russian-speaking undergraduate or graduate student who has an interest in international relations, public affairs, Russian-Jewish communities in the U.S. and abroad, and political science. Recent high school graduates with proven abilities, a mature attitude, and recommendations will also be considered.
Responsibilities include: assistance in recruiting participants and organizing AJC’s Russian Leadership Training Program; monitoring national and local English and Russian media and web sites on subjects on anti-Semitism; working on AJC’s Russian-American web site; organize research and office documents and materials; assist with research projects and gathering of information for upcoming publications; provide general office and administrative support.
A minimum commitment of 12 hrs/ week for minimum of 10 weeks is required. Start date is immediate. The position is unpaid. We will cover public transportation expenses and lunch.
