Do:
- Prioritize your safety on campus
- Use accurate facts to respond to questions, disinformation and conspiracies about Israel:
- Take the time to take care of yourself (exercise, take a walk and a social media break, reach out to a mental health professional or a support group)
- Reach out to your community leaders, to Hillel staff, and AJC for support (campus@ajc.org)
Don't:
- Unnecessarily put yourself in a potentially dangerous setting
- Use aggression as a means to support Israel. Instead, educate others by spreading your voice through social media, podcasts, op-eds, or other means
- Be silenced by an inadequate response from your university leadership
- Share AJC Resources for Higher Education Administrators with administrators on campus and share with them what you need to feel safe on campus
- Take this on alone. We are all in this together!
